Gil Constantini, of Peterborough, Ontario, Canada, was elected to serve a term as director of The international Association of Lions Clubs at the association's 72nd annual convention, held in Miami/Miami Beach, U.S.A., in June 1989.
Past Director Constantini is a chartered insurance broker associated with a regional brokerage. He is also the past president of the Insurance Brokers Association of Ontario.
A Lion since 1974 and currently a member of the Peterborough Lions Club, Past Director Constantini has served as club president, zone chair, district governor and council chair.
He has served on several multiple district committees, including MD secretary.
He has served as MDA Concil Chairman for 1981-82
For his contributions to the association, he has received the 100% District Governor Award, two Extension Awards, several International President's Awards as well as the Ambassador of Good Will Award, the highest honour granted by the association to its members.
Past Director Constantini and his wife, Ann, have a daughter and granddaughter.
