Né
à Montréal le 16 septembre 1920.
Fit
ses études à Rosemont puis au High School Strathearn.
Au
cours de la 2ème grande guerre, fut membre des forces armées
au régiment des BlACK Watch, pui Sergent instructeur du Ottawa Cameron
Highlanders.
À
son retour, il épousa Norma. Ils
ont quatre enfants et plusieurs petits-enfants.
Courtier
d’assurance, il fut Président de Beverly, Fairhurst, DePretis, maison
fondée en 1963.
Se
joint au Club Lions de Verdun en 1948 et est transféré au Club Lions de
Lachine-Lakeshore en septembre 1959.
Il
appartient au club Lions de Pointe-Claire depuis septembre 1970 où il a
occupé tous les postes, y compris celui de trésorier pendant 11 ans.
Il
fut Président du Club Lions de Lachine-Lakeshore en 1966-67, Président
de zone en 1968-69 et Vice-Gouverneur du District en1969-70.
Durant
toutes ces années il obtint son 1005 présence à son club.
Il
fut nommé Gouverneur du District A-8 pour le terme 1974-75.

He
was married upon his return from service to Norma and has four children
and three grand children.
He
has spent nineteen years in the insurance business and was President of
Beverly, Fairhurst, DePretis wich was formed in 1963.
Joined
lionism in Verdun may 1948, transferred to Lachine-Lakeshore club in
September 1959 and to Pointe-Claire Lions Club in September 1970.
Has
served in every office including eleven years as treasurer.
Was
President of Lachine-Lakeshore Lions Club in 1966-67.
He
act as zone chairman in 1968-69 and as Deputy District Governor in
1969-70.
Has
completed more than 26 years of perfect attendance to his clubs meetings.
